Aaron Pinkston is a freelance writer and professional coordinator living in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Cinema Studies in 2007 (a few years before they slapped Roger Ebert’s name on the program) and is currently a member of the Online Film Critics Society. His love of film spawned from over-night horror film parties as a teenager growing up in a small town.
Based on a true story and a similarly named documentary, Dream Horse takes the sports formula and mostly throws it away for what makes its story unique, a small community banded together to work through its many problems with a dream horse.
